Ginger Boles presently resides in Oklahoma City after spending several years as a military family where she lived as well as traveled to many foreign countries.
Having been in public relations in the Air Force, it was by Divine intervention that her husband Al, after retiring from the Air Force, began working with a gentleman by the name of Charles Brumbeloe in helping bring Christian TV to Oklahoma. The groundwork done with this station was the beginning of what is known in Oklahoma as TBN–as the stations amalgamated and became connected.
Al Boles, as everyone knows, stayed with the Trinity Broadcasting Network for several years as Vice President of the Board of Trustees and Director of the Counseling Department.
It was a moment in God’s timing that Ginger was catapulted into a singing career in order to reach out to others for Christ. She began singing in churches, evangelistic services, other TV and radio shows; and began writing and recording her own songs.
After leaving TBN, Al and Ginger bought a pawn shop–and Al went to Bible College and became an ordained minister. As a “lady pawnbroker,” Ginger found out what it meant to be on the mission field when the U.S. economy suffered… and many people were in need! Ginger continued singing in churches, concerts, festivals, TV shows, fairs–and sang and spoke for many special events. Later, Al and Ginger became involved with a new TV station which reached the whole area, assisted them to fruition; and had a weekly TV show on Daystar-Channel 46 for seven years.
Ginger often sings at the renown Nashville Cowboy Church in Nashville, TN; which was started by Johnny Cash’s sister Joann Cash Yates and her husband Dr. Harry Yates. Ginger has even sung at the Capitol Hill Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C. – and also started singing in Branson, MO, with “Jammin’ for Jesus” – and has sung in Branson for over 15 years.
Ginger is with the “Branson Gospel Singers and Songwriters Association” and is a lifetime member of the “United States Association of Gospel Singers and Musicians” of Nashville, TN. She is also a lifetime member of the “Country Music Singers Association” of Oklahoma City.
Presently, Al has a ministry program on UAN-TV in Dallas, TX – and Ginger produces and hosts a two-hour Gospel music show on UAN-TV.
We have known Al and Ginger for many years… and love them dearly; and it is a great honor to present Ginger
Boles on Chariot Records!
